Here we answer some of your Frequently asked questions. Please don’t hesitate to contact the office should you require more information.

What are your check in and check out times?

Weekdays: Check in is at 12 Noon unless otherwise arranged with management. 

Saturdays: Check in can occur from 8 – 12 as reception is open until 12 Noon.

Sundays: Self check in will be arranged if deposit has been paid.

Check out is strictly at 9 am daily. 

How does self-check in work?

Self check in is arranged by management, should you not be able to check in on the times specified. We have safes in our lobby and will allocate you a safe number. The code for the safe will be sent to you via SMS or Whatsapp (please ensure we have your correct number) along with instructions and codes for the Front door and Safes.  Your flat keys and maps will be provided in your check in envelope to guide you to your parking and flat. Should you experience any difficulty, kindly phone our emergency number 078 561 1878 for someone to assist you.  A call out fee of R50 per flat will be charged if someone needs to come to the premises to assist you.  

How far are you from the beach?

Happy Days is situated right on the beachfront.  We are walking distance to the beach, 70 meters to be exact. We have direct access to the beach and tidal Pool.

How far are you from the airport? Do you offer a shuttle service?

We are about 60 KM from the airport. We do not offer a shuttle service but can provide you with contact details of trusted Shuttle services in the area. 

Do you charge breakages or admin fees?

We take pride in the fact that we DO NOT charge any of those hidden fees. What you see on your quote is what you pay, nothing more, nothing less. A breakages fee is only applicable to contractors accommodation. 

Are you pet friendly?

We regret to inform that Happy Days is not a pet friendly establishment. An exception will be made for a small caged bird, with prior arrangement with management only.  

Are you wheelchair friendly?

Yes, we do have access for wheelchairs. We have two elevators in the building and broad passages.  Please speak to management, as some of our flats has showers only and would not be suited for someone in a wheelchair. 

Is there secure parking?

Yes, we do have a safe and secure undercover parking area.  Each flat gets allocated one parking bay. Should you  have two vehicles, prior arrangement with  management is necessary as we charge R15 per night for extra parking. This option is not available during peak season but the office can advise on alternative parking bays.
